GEROINFO in its new phase towards scientific excellence

Abstract

In this editorial, Dr. Humberto Arencibia Pérez reflects on the history and current challenges of GEROINFO, the scientific journal of the Cuban Society of Geriatrics and Gerontology. Fifteen years after its founding, the publication is embarking on a transformation process aimed at raising its editorial quality standards and achieving a prominent international position.
