The century XXI from its beginnings confronts a world with a population that presents an increase, in the number and ancient people's proportion. Considering that education is a process that happens during one's lifetime life, like autonomous professionals we must expose our instruments from the communal intervention to recognize this educational problems and to contribute enriching elements to guarantee a quality of life in ancient patients, for the sake of Developing abilities of auto-care in ancient patients for the better his quality of life we propose a strategy of communal intervention in auto-care in ancient patients, the strategy will utilize techniques based in the active participation of the implicated in this process from its event experienced in life. The aforementioned intervention is group departing of the interchange and of the reflection of the members of the group like motivator of changes of attitudes and of styles of life. THE study was quantitative of transverse court of descriptive type in the poly-clinician Elpidio Berovides of the municipality Smooth during the period understood of October of the 2010 to February 2011. You show her quietly of an universe of 350 constituted for 270 patients. Getting like results from a deficit knowledge in auto-care in health in relation to his disease. Departing of the results one lays plans and the strategy is applicable. Coming to the conclusion that the aged population's quality of life can get modified favorably applying a system of simple and cost-reducing prevention for part of the doctors and the nurses of the first level of health.
